CHICAMA PERU
‘The World’s Longest Left’
guided by Terry Simms,
hosted by the Chicama Boutique Hotel

Oct 30 – Nov 6, 2022

Come join Terry for seven days on this magical desert point in Peru. Chicama (Malabrigo Port) is a natural and historical jewel hidden between the ocean and coastal desert of the La Libertad region of Peru.

Why is Chicama a personal favorite of Terry Simms?

• Holds swell from knee high to triple overhead.
• The wind direction is consistently off shore.
• The wave breaks on all tides allowing for multiple windows of surf.
• Extra long sessions courtesy of the Chicama Boutique Hotel’s boat service that shuttles you back to the top of the point after your leg burning 1 km- long ride.
• The length of ride and multiple takeoff zones offer rewards for surfers of all levels.
• For those who want to experience some of Peru’s more challenging waves, we can arrange for half and full day trips to the other waves in the area.

After several trips to Chicama in the past two years, we have come to appreciate how truly special this national surf reserve is. This coastline is chock full of surf adventures and is also home to several ancient archeological sites and historical port towns. Every surfer should come experience Peruvian hospitality, culture and the epic waves.

The Chicama Boutique Hotel with its ocean view rooms offers sweeping views of the point. Complete with a pool, two hot tubs, spa, yoga, game room, and a fantastic on-site restaurant, once you check in to Chicama Surf Hotel you are fully taken care of. The staff is charming and world-class.

During the month of October and November, the resort will host Monica Paz as the resident wellness expert. Monica, trained in bodywork and integrative health, has magic hands on the massage table and also leads daily yoga classes.

Pricing: Simms personalized, one-on-one coaching and a six night/seven day stay at Chicama Hotel for (2) surfers start at $8500.
