Brewer has clearly been one of the most influential surfboard shapers of all time. His apprentices and team riders include legends like: Reno Abellira, Sam Hawk, Owl Chapman, Gerry Lopez, Jock Sutherland, Jeff Hakman, Jimmy Lucas, Buddy Boy Keohe, Gary Chapman — and the list goes on. Larry Mabile is a native of San Diego, California. He has a long history in the shaping industry working for labels such as Gordon and Smith and Cane Garden. His line, Third World Exotic, represents forty plus years of shaping experience and shows a direct connection to his teacher and mentor Pacific Beach legend, Skip Frye.
